In the beginning there was nothing but raw astral energy. From these energies the six spheres were formed. Each sphere embodies one aspect of the original magic power which rested in the heart of nothingness. At the same time a cataclysmic thraumaturgic big bang occurred during this splitting and the multiverse with its billions of worlds came into being. The individual worlds are separated from each other but nevertheless all have the same energetic connection to the spheres in common. Through these connections, which are also called ley lines, the essence of the spheres flows into the worlds and enables the living beings to thrive and work magic there.
And as chaos and chance would have it, not only did life arise on the worlds, but also in the spheres themselves. These powerful entities, holding the power of their spheres, moved from the spheres to the worlds and became godlike beings there. Like gods, they regulate the flow of essence from the spheres to their worlds, giving their minions, the living beings, their power to thrive and their magic.
